Greens are good for you!

Green foods include vegetables like kale, broccoli, zuccinni, lettuce, spinach, celery, green onions, bok choy, and lettuce; fruit like avacados, limes, cucumbers, green apples, peas, snap peas; and herbs like parsley, thyme, basil, mint, green tea,etc.

Green foods are easily absorbed by our body and distributed where the nutrients and minerals like Vitamin C, folate, calcium, iron, which are all very good for body functions, digestion, and healing needs. 

In addition, greens include phytonutrients that revitalize you throughout the day. They include fiber and water that helps to regulate blood sugar levels throughout the day. For instance, Celery has high potassium and water contents that help lower blood pressure. 

Did you know that green peas can boost your immune system and build healthy bones? It has vitamin K and manganese, which are significant in controlling how your vitamin C is used in your body. 

The darker the green, the healthier it is and the stronger it can help fight off cancer or help you lose weight.  

1. Increase how often you eat is eat! The more times you have greens the better they will integrated into your system throughout your day.
2. Write out recipes that include greens or use a green in every meal. 
3. Make simple modifications to form healthier habits.
