Through my travels, I have become intrigued with people, especially the way their heritage and individual strength of character is reflected in their faces and posture. The people I’ve encountered have inspired me to add figurative art to a repertoire that focused on landscape and wildlife painting for more than 30 years.
Today, in addition to landscape and wildlife subjects, I portray individuals from a variety of cultures and activities. I strive to illustrate their unique qualities, painting and sculpting people with a range of emotions and locations that will inspire my audience to remember specific memories from their past.
My artistic spirit thrives on pursuing several media, which stimulates and challenges me to continually improve my techniques.
